Summer in Italy Finale Concert

Viva Italia! It’s a night of Italian opera arias at the Hinson Amphitheater with Maestro Luis Biava, guest soloists and our very own New Albany Symphony Chorus. Bask in the beauty of a summer night with the symphony. Gates open at 7:00 pm. La Bella Cucina Italian Deli and Whit’s Frozen Custard will be there with Italian-themed selections.

Children’s Hip Hop Dance Class with New Vision Dance Company

Jess Gould will teach a fun and easy beginner Hip Hop combo to an Italian song as a part of the New Albany Symphony’s Rose Run Fest. Fun for ages 8 and up! This event is free to the public but does require registration. Please wear comfortable clothing and a flat shoe like a sneaker as we will be dancing on brick and/or grass.
About your instructor: Jess Gould has been a member of New Vision Dance Company for four seasons. She teaches at BalletMet and Village Creative Dance in Newark.

Paint Party in the Park

Meet 24-25 New Albany Symphony Artist-in-Residence Carolyn Heffelfinger for a “Paint Party in the Park!” All participants will receive a canvas and paints to create your very own masterpiece (please wear old clothes). All ages are welcome to participate.
